The Center for Entrepreneurship and Outreach at the University of Missouri-Rolla, in conjunction with University of Missouri Extension, will conduct a “Tips for Trade Shows” workshop on Tuesday, Feb. 6. The workshop will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 206 of the University Center at UMR.
Jackie Rasmussen, business development specialist with University of Missouri Extension, will lead the class and provide advice on how exhibitors can capitalize on their trade show experiences. The workshop will address five primary topics: Identifying your purpose for being at a trade show, pre-show advertising and promotions, designing exhibits that sell, how to work the crowd and post-show follow up.
This workshop is targeted at area businesses with limited trade show experience and those interested in learning how to maximize future trade show opportunities.
