UMR to offer workshop on business plan basics Dec. 8

The Center for Entrepreneurship and Outreach at the University of Missouri-Rolla will teach small business owners and future business owners the basics of writing a business plan in a three-hour class on Friday, Dec. 8.
The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to noon in Room 206 of the University Center Building on campus. The class is designed to assist representatives from small businesses in their efforts to develop a business plan, which is vital to developing funding. The discussion will cover key elements of a plan, writing styles and tools, and where to look for funding opportunities.
