It’s not too late for children ages 12 to 14 to register for the Robotics Camp, to be held June 22-24 at the University of Missouri-Rolla.
The hands-on camp, sponsored by UMR’s mechanical and aerospace engineering department and the department of distance and continuing education at UMR, is designed to teach students the basic principles of robotics, including electronics, sensors and motor controls. No robotics experience is required to participate.
Camp fees are $350 for those who will spend the two nights in UMR’s Thomas Jefferson Residence Hall and $300 for those who will commute. Both fees include meals, activities and a camp T-shirt. Registration is limited.
