Twenty-nine alumni from the University of Missouri-Rolla’s class of 1956 will return to campus for their Golden Alumni Reunion on June 4-6, 2006. A local member of the class of 1956 planning to attend the event is Dr. Harry J. Sauer Jr., of Rolla.

The public is invited to join the group at two of the events to help host UMR’s newest “golden alumni.” Both events are free of charge and no reservations are required. The events are:

“MSM-UMR … Then and Now,” a multimedia presentation about the alumni association and present campus, at 2 p.m. Monday, June 5, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets.

The Golden Alumni Recognition Ceremony, 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall. Individual alumni will be honored as they receive their 50-Year Pin during the recognition ceremony.
