Twenty-one UMR faculty receive tenure, promotions

Twenty-one faculty members at the University of Missouri-Rolla will receive promotions or tenure effective Sept. 1. Those faculty members are:

Dr. Venkat Allada, promoted to professor of engineering management.

Dr. Diana Ahmad, promoted to associate professor of history and political science with tenure.

Dr. Massimo Bertino, promoted to associate professor of physics with tenure.

Dr. Roman Dwilewicz, promoted to professor of mathematics and statistics.

Dr. David Enke, promoted to associate professor of engineering management with tenure.

Dr. Gary Gadbury, promoted to associate professor of mathematics and statistics with tenure.

Dr. Michael Hilgers, promoted to professor of information science and technology.

Dr. Kelly Homan, promoted to associate professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering with tenure.

Dr. Yue-wern Huang, promoted to associate professor of biological sciences with tenure.

Dr. Patrick Huber, promoted to associate professor of history and political science with tenure.

Dr. Robert Landers, promoted to associate professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering with tenure.

Dr. Vy Khoi Le, promoted to professor of mathematics and statistics.

Dr. Sanjay Madria, promoted to associate professor of computer science with tenure.

Dr. Rajiv Mishra, promoted to professor of materials science and engineering.

Dr. Matthew O’Keefe, promoted to professor of material science and engineering.

Dr. Prakash Reddy, promoted to associate professor of chemistry with tenure.

Dr. J. David Rogers, Karl F. Hasselmann Chair and associate professor of geological engineering, granted tenure.

Dr. Jeffrey Smith, associate professor of materials science and engineering, granted tenure.

Dr. Ganesh Venayagamoorthy, promoted to associate professor of electrical and computer engineering with tenure.

Dr. Thomas Vojta, promoted to associate professor of physics with tenure.

Dr. Jee-Ching Wang, promoted to associate professor of chemical engineering with tenure.
