The annual awards banquet of the University of Missouri-Rolla chapter of Sigma Xi will feature a discussion of groundwater movement in the southern Missouri Ozarks.
James Vandike, a hydrogeologist with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, will present a lecture titled “Below the Surface…A Brief Look at Missouri’s Hidden Waters” at the banquet, which will be held Monday, April 17, in the Carver-Turner Room of the Havener Center on the UMR campus. Seating begins at 6 p.m.
