The 2005-2006 season of the Family Series at the University of Missouri-Rolla will continue with “The Spencers: Theatre of Illusion” at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10.

The performance, presented by magicians Kevin and Cindy Spencer, will be held at Leach Theatre in Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla. Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for youths 18 and younger. The Sir Leach Family Series Punch Card is also available to patrons for $30, and provides five admissions to any of the Family Series shows, saving audience members up to $20 each.

“Theatre of Illusion” is much more than a magic show; it is a roller coaster ride of emotions through the world of the impossible. For more than a decade, the Spencers have entertained audiences throughout the United States and around the world with one of the most successful touring illusion shows in the nation. Audience members will cross over a threshold of disbelief and be captivated by the magical performance. Dramatic lighting, special effects, beautiful scenery, music movement and stage magic propel this age-old art of magic into the 21st century. The Spencers have earned a reputation as one of the most highly regarded acts in magical entertainment.
