Santa to visit KUMR studios Friday, Dec. 23

Public radio station KUMR at the University of Missouri-Rolla invites kids of all ages to tune in to the station and call in to speak with Santa Claus on a special holiday edition of “Sounds Eclectic” 9-11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23.

“Jolly old Saint Nick is taking time out of his busy schedule to make his annual visit to KUMR,” says Jim Sigler, the station’s general manager. “Everyone is invited to share their holiday wish list with Santa as he visits with kids all around south central Missouri on member-supported public radio KUMR.”

Children interested in talking to Santa may call the station at (573) 341-4386.

KUMR, a National Public Radio affiliate, is a 100,000-watt non-commercial, educational station licensed to the University of Missouri-Rolla and is located at 88.5 FM in Rolla, 96.3 FM in Lebanon, Mo., and online at www.kumr.org.
