UMR and Rolla Symphony orchestras to perform in concert Oct. 13

The Rolla Symphony and the University Chamber Orchestra will host a concert 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, in Leach Theatre of UMR’s Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla. The performance is free for students and $3 for the general public. Tickets are available at the door and at the Leach Theatre Box Office.
“A great evening of music is going to be performed by our talented students and community members,” says Dr. Donald Miller, conductor of the groups and assistant professor of music at UMR. “This is always a special event for both audience members and performers.”
The performance will feature music from composers Aaron Copeland, Franz Joseph Haydn and Nicholi Rimsky-Korsakov.
