Bagnall, a member of the UMR alumni staff since 1988, will replace Don Brackhahn, who is retiring after 17 years as director of alumni and constituent relations. She will direct all activities for the MSM-UMR Alumni Association, which represents more than 45,000 graduates of UMR and the University of Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy, as well as the UMR Parents Association.

"I’m delighted to have the opportunity to work with alumni and friends in this new capacity," Bagnall says. "I’m looking forward to building even stronger relationships with our alumni and constituents, to meet their needs and help them become more closely involved with the campus. This is an exciting time at UMR, and I’m happy to be taking a greater role in informing our alumni about the positive changes taking place and involving them in that process."

As assistant director, Bagnall’s duties included coordinating special events, managing the association’s annual fund and serving as an associate editor of the MSM-UMR Alumnus magazine. Bagnall earned her bachelor of arts degree in psychology from UMR in 1976 and is pursuing her master’s degree in higher education administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She joined UMR as a computer programmer/analyst in 1986, then joined the alumni office staff in 1988.
