Ceramic engineering faculty recognized

UMR ceramic engineering faculty were recognized during the American Ceramic Society’s annual meeting, held April 28-May 1 in St. Louis.

Jeff Smith, MS CerE’91, PhD CerE’93, associate professor of ceramic engineering, was named fellow of the American Ceramic Society, while Bill Fahrenholtz, associate professor of ceramic engineering, was named vice chair of the society’s Ceramic Educational Council. Richard Brow, chair and professor of ceramic engineering, was named chairman of the Glass and Optical Division.
