Chemistry Nobel Laureate to present fifth Stoffer Lecture
Missouri S&T will host a winner of the 2019 Nobel Prize in chemistry as part of the university’s 150th anniversary celebration events. Dr. M. Stanley Whittingham, Distinguished Professor of Chemistry at Binghamton University, will deliver the fifth annual Stoffer Lecture virtually at 4 p.m. Friday, April 16.

Former NASA astronaut to be first presenter in Stoffer Lecture Series
Dr. Janet L. Kavandi, director of NASA’s John H. Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and a Missouri University of Science and Technology graduate, will give the inaugural lecture in the James O. Stoffer Lecture in Chemistry series.
