S&T to honor nearly 700 graduates at fall commencement ceremonies

Missouri University of Science and Technology will hold three commencement ceremonies this fall in the Gale Bullman Building, located at 10th Street and Bishop Avenue in Rolla. Ph.D. candidates will be honored during a ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15. Bachelor’s and master’s degree candidates will be recognized during two ceremonies held at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16. Saturday’s ceremonies are divided by discipline.

87 researchers affiliated with Missouri S&T among top 2% cited scientists in their fields for career or single-year impact

A total of 58 current and former faculty of Missouri S&T are among the top researchers in their field as measured by their career research records, and 72 current or former Missouri S&T researchers were among the best in their fields in 2022, according to a recent analysis of standardized citation indicators of the Elsevier Data Repository published by Stanford University.

Odun-Ayo named director of Missouri S&T, MSU cooperative engineering program

For the first time since it was founded in 2008, Missouri University of Science and Technology’s Cooperative Engineering Program with Missouri State University will soon have a new director.

Dr. Theresa Odun-Ayo, who currently serves as an associate teaching professor of electrical and computer engineering for the program, will replace Dr. Douglas Carroll as director on Saturday, July 15. Carroll will continue to serve the program as a professor of mechanical engineering.
