Missouri S&T education department earns a 2024 DEWEY Award

Missouri S&T’s education department has earned a 2024 Developing an Educator Workforce that Expands Yearly (DEWEY) Award. With this award, Missouri S&T can better support approximately 60 students studying to be K-12 teachers. The funding will help pay for S&T students’ field experiences and pay their mileage for student teaching.

Latosha Mulhall, who earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Missouri S&T in 2023, won a Missouri Teacher Leaders of Tomorrow award from the Missouri Milken Educators on Friday, April 19. Mulhall teaches at Belle Elementary School in Belle, Missouri.

Missouri S&T fall speaker series to discuss entrepreneurship, workplace diversity and more
