S&T completes TRIM grant inventory

Missouri University of Science and Technology has 2,247 trees spread across its 236-acre campus. That’s the finding from a recent tree inventory conducted using funds from a $10,000 Tree Resource Improvement and Maintenance (TRIM) grant from the Missouri Department of Conservation.

Even on the snowiest winter day, the custodial and landscape services crew at Missouri University of Science and Technology is helping keep the campus “green” thanks to the department’s new Green Truck. The electric service vehicle was purchased to support S&T’s plans for a green campus community.

TRIM grant to help S&T landscape

The custodial and landscape services department at Missouri University of Science and Technology has received a $10,000 Tree Resource Improvement and Maintenance (TRIM) grant from the Missouri Department of Conservation. The grant will help fund an updated inventory and evaluation of campus trees.
