S&T alumnus Gene Gowins establishes $2.1 million permanent endowment for physics students

Gene Gowins, who studied physics at Missouri S&T in the early 1960s, has established a $2.1 million permanent endowment to help physics students succeed, a gift he says was inspired by both the values he learned growing up during the Great Depression and his passion for physics.

Missouri S&T to honor alumni, faculty and staff during homecoming

On a whim, Dr. Casey Burton first visited Missouri S&T at age 17. He was returning home from a different college visit and decided to stop in with his parents for a tour. After all, Burton’s grandfather was an S&T alumnus, so he wanted to see the campus at least.

KUKA Robotics president returns to Rolla for lab dedication
