Missouri S&T is now accepting registrations for its 2026 summer camps, offering students of all ages the chance to explore, create and learn through hands-on STEM experiences.
From elementary school students taking their first steps into science, to high school students tackling challenge-based projects, S&T summer camps provide immersive experiences designed to ignite curiosity.
This year, the Kummer Center for STEM Education is offering six new camps, including Introduction to Robotics, Advanced Robotics, BioMed IQ and Accelerated Environmental Science, which also allows students to choose the option of receiving S&T college credit.
This year, the Kummer Center for STEM Education is offering six new camps that will allow students to potentially receive college credit, including Introduction to Robotics, Advanced Robotics, BioMed IQ and Accelerated Environmental Science. In January, students will also be able to register for the Autonomous Mobile Robotics Bootcamp and a drone-focused camp called Design, Print, Take Flight, which will offer the option to earn certifications.
Other camp focuses will include engineering, robotics, coding, biology, chemistry, history, art and more.
“We are excited to see more students with a wider variety of interests on our campus this summer due to growing support of faculty and experts,” says Roxanne Hanna, associate director of the Kummer Center for STEM Education. “Missouri S&T’s camps truly emphasize hands-on projects, teamwork and creativity, allowing participants to learn by doing.”
Students can once again apply for scholarships to attend the camps.
“Part of our mission is to remove barriers, and thanks to our generous donors, our scholarship program stays true to that mission,” says Courtney Jones, director of the Kummer Center for STEM Education.
Camps will be held throughout the summer on the Missouri S&T campus. Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged. A link to the scholarship application form will be sent in the pre-registration email after students are registered for their camp.
