Missouri S&T orchestra to perform November 2

Missouri University of Science and Technology’s arts, languages, and philosophy department will present an orchestra concert this November. 

The performance will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, located at the corner of 10th and Main streets on the Missouri S&T campus. The wind symphony is directed by Dr. David Samson, associate teaching professor at Missouri S&T. 

“The Missouri S&T University Orchestra celebrates the Halloween weekend with music from Harry Potter and the classic ‘Night on Bald Mountain’ from Disney’s ‘Fantasia,’ as well as music by Finnish composer Jean Sibelius.”  

Tickets are $5 for the public and free to youth ages 18 and under and Missouri S&T students with a valid ID. Tickets can be purchased online at leachtheatre.mst.edu or by calling 573-341-4219. Service fees may apply to tickets purchased online. Tickets can also be purchased at the Leach Theatre Box Office starting one hour before the performance.
