Six new 10-minute plays will be written, directed and performed by Missouri S&T students during the Overnight Theatre Festival at Leach Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 4.

The night before the festival, a group of students and invited guest artists will be given a genre, a theme and a line of dialogue that must be used in their new plays. The playwrights must write a 10-minute play by the next morning, so the actors and directors have the rest of the day to rehearse before presenting the performances to a live audience.

The groups will perform their work at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, located at the corner of 10th and Main streets on the Missouri S&T campus. The performances are free to attend and open to the public.
