S&T releases official enrollment numbers for spring semester

The official fourth-week enrollment figures at Missouri University of Science and Technology show a total enrollment of 7,008 students. This represents an enrollment increase of 2.7 percent over last spring’s fourth-week enrollment, says Deanne Jackson, interim director of records and registration at Missouri S&T.
The spring semester at Missouri S&T began Monday, Jan. 9.
The spring 2012 enrollment census — officially recorded at the end of the semester’s fourth week — is up 183 students from the official spring 2011 figure.
Laura Stoll, vice provost and dean of enrollment management, says this is the 11th consecutive year of growth for Missouri S&T’s spring semester enrollment. In 2001, spring enrollment was 4,385 students. This year’s numbers show a total enrollment increase of nearly 60 percent since 2001.
