The Missouri University of Science and Technology campus will resume normal operations on Thursday, Feb. 3, following two days of closure due to winter weather. Classes will be held as scheduled on Thursday, and campus offices will be open for normal business hours.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to use caution when traveling to and from campus, as some roads in and around campus remain covered by snow, sleet and ice. Our Missouri S&T grounds crews continue to clear campus walkways and parking lots of remaining ice, sleet and snow accumulation from Tuesday’s weather event.

“I’m very thankful to all the university employees who worked to keep many critical services operational for our students during the bad winter weather of the past two days,” said Missouri S&T Chancellor John F. Carney III. “This includes the grounds crews, power plant operation, the staff of our student health services, library, recreation and fitness facilities, residence halls, the Havener Center, police and many other employees who provided essential support and services during this weather event. I also appreciate the dedication of the Chartwells Dining Services staff for providing food services without disruption.”
