Eleven new faculty members began teaching and research at Missouri S&T since January 2009.
The new faculty are:
- Muthanna Al-Dahhan, chair and professor, chemical engineering
- Mao Chen Ge, associate professor, mining and nuclear engineering
- Mathew Goldberg, lecturer, English and technical communication
- Ryan Hutcheson, assistant teaching professor, mechanical and aerospace engineering
- Ulrich Jentschura, assistant professor, physics
- Hyoung-Koo Lee, assistant professor, mining and nuclear engineering
- Kevin Martin, assistant research professor, mechanical and aerospace engineering
- Bansari Mitra, lecturer, English and technical communication
- Manikantan Nair, lecturer, chemistry
- John Seiffertt IV, assistant teaching professor, electrical and computer engineering
- Theresa Swift, assistant teaching professor, electrical engineering.
