Enrollment on the first day of classes at Missouri University of Science and
Technology is expected to be 5,531, a 4.2 percent increase from last year’s
first day enrollment, says Laura Stoll, Missouri S&T registrar.
The spring semester at Missouri S&T (formerly the University of
Missouri-Rolla) begins Monday, Jan. 14. Last spring, 5,308 students were
enrolled on the first day of the spring semester. This year’s 4.2 percent
increase represents a total of 223 additional students.
The university will continue to enroll students through the first weeks of
the spring semester.
“We expect to enroll 200 more students in the next few weeks,” says Jay
Goff, dean of enrollment management at Missouri S&T.
The official enrollment figures for the semester will be released after the
fourth week of classes.
