Dr. Henry Wiebe, dean of the School of Extended Learning at the University of Missouri-Rolla, presented outstanding teaching awards in two categories to UMR faculty members engaged in distance education during a campus ceremony on April 23. Those chosen for the awards in both categories received high ratings from students.
Recipients of the School of Extended Learning 2007 Outstanding Teaching Award of Excellence include:

— Dr. Scott Grasman, assistant professor of engineering management
— Dr. Roger LaBoube, Curators’ Teaching Professor of civil engineering
— Robert Laney, lecturer in engineering management
— Harold Wagner Jr., lecturer in civil engineering.
