“Rumors” is Neil Simon at his best. The rib tickling begins when four couples arrive at an anniversary party. The party never begins, however, because the host’s wife is missing and he has suffered a flesh wound after shooting himself in the head. The cover-up from the host’s lawyer becomes more and more difficult to sustain as the other guests arrive. Doors slam and hilarity abounds as the couples become more crazed and confused.
The following UMR students are participating in the performance of “Rumors.”

Katie Bryant, a freshman in interdisciplinary engineering from Fenton, Mo., plays Officer Pudney.
