UMR‘s Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Winds to hold Nov. 20 performance

The University of Missouri-Rolla Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Winds groups will hold a performance at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla.
Admission is free to students and $3 to community members. Tickets will be sold at the UMR Leach Theatre Box Office this week and at the door.
“Included in the repertoire is one of the world’s most famous marches,” says Don Miller, assistant professor of music and director of UMR bands and orchestras. “There will also be works by the several well-known composers, including the accomplished Frank Ticheli, Australian musical genius Percy A. Grainger, and the late Alfred Reed. Don’t forget to join us for a wonderful afternoon of music.”
