Winter commencement at the University of Missouri-Rolla will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, in UMR’s Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building, 10th Street and Bishop Avenue.         

About 550 degrees will be awarded.         

People with sight, hearing and mobility impairments who are planning to attend commencement should contact UMR’s Office of Affirmative Action, Americans with Disabilities Act coordinator, at (573) 341-6314 before Friday, Dec. 9, for the university to provide reasonable accommodations.         

In addition, the campus will hold its 2005 Winter Graduation Jubilee from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at the Havener Center on campus. Graduation Jubilee features food, student projects, displays and exhibits. UMR students, faculty, staff, parents, friends of graduating students and professional degree recipients are all invited to participate in this commencement event.
