Friday, Sept. 30
– Registration, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Havener Center atrium
– Tours of the new Havener Center, 1-4 p.m.
– Student design teams project displays, 1-4 p.m., Havener Center
– “Before Bugsy Siegel: Las Vegas as the ‘Last Frontier’ Town,” a free lecture by Dr. Larry Gragg, chair of history and political science and a Curators’ Teaching Professor, 2-3 p.m., Silver and Gold Room, Havener Center.
– Groundbreaking for Toomey Hall, 2:30 p.m., at the site of the current Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Building.
– Departmental open houses and receptions, 3-4:45 p.m., at various campus locations.
