Mechanical engineering student chosen UMR’s 2004 Homecoming queen

Danielle Miller of St. Peters, Mo., a senior in mechanical engineering at UMR has been chosen UMR’s 2004 Homecoming Queen. Miller was nominated by Zeta Tau Alpha.

Members of the queen’s court are: first runner-up, Meghan Donnellan of Chickasha, Okla., a junior in biological sciences, nominated by Phi Kappa Theta; second runner-up, Katie Beissel of Springfield, Mo., a senior in chemical engineering, nominated by Chi Omega; third runner-up, Beth Hayward of Bloomington, Minn., a senior in mechanical engineering, nominated by Pi Kappa Alpha.

The queen and members of her court were chosen from among student candidates after interviews and a campus wide election. The winners were announced Saturday, Oct. 16, during halftime ceremonies of UMR’s homecoming football game.
