78 researchers affiliated with Missouri S&T among top 2% cited scientists in their fields

A total of 67 current and former faculty of Missouri S&T are among the top researchers in their field as measured by their career research records, and 54 current or former Missouri S&T researchers were among the best in their fields in 2023, according to a recent analysis of standardized citation indicators of the Elsevier Data Repository published by Stanford University.

Money Magazine ranks Missouri S&T among the nation’s best

Missouri S&T is one of the nation’s best colleges, according to Money Magazine’s “Best Colleges 2024.” Missouri S&T also made the publication’s lists for “Best Public Colleges,” “Best Colleges in the Midwest” and “Best Colleges with High Acceptance Rates.” According to the site, S&T’s acceptance rate is 81%.

First-day enrollment sees bump in new students at Missouri S&T

Missouri University of Science and Technology welcomed 7,037 students on its first day of classes yesterday (Monday, Aug. 19). Last year’s first-day enrollment at the STEM-focused university was 7,022 students, meaning the overall enrollment from year-to-year remains steady.

Saudi Arabia students affected by Crowdstrike outage still able to enjoy summer camps

Missouri S&T holds a wide variety of STEM-related summer camps that bring in students from around the nation, and even all around the world. In July, a group of four high school students from Saudi Arabia had a difficult journey getting to the Missouri S&T campus to attend the Exploring Materials in Your World Camp. While they were forced to miss most of the actual camp, S&T employees ensured the international students still had a fun and educational time while at Missouri S&T.
