James O. Stoffer receives Coatings Institute award

Greek community service: $42,000, thousands of hours

UMR graduate student recognized by aeronautics and astronautics group

Derek Schmitz of Jefferson City, Mo., a graduate student in mechanical and aerospace engineering at the University of Missouri-Rolla, received the first place award in the Graduate Technical Paper category and $500 at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Region Five Student Conference, held April 28-30 in Minneapolis, Minn.
