The float, which features a candy-spewing tornado and a flopping catfish, is being constructed by UMR students enrolled in a class called Experiential Design.

The competition was held during ASCE Geo-Institute’s Geo-Congress 2006, a national conference that focused on “Geotechnical Engineering in the Information Technology Age.”
