Got News?
Our office is always interested in new programs, research, or upcoming events that might interest the news media. To help us get the word out both internally through the eConnection and externally by seeking media coverage, please follow these steps.

 1. Email your information to us at news@mst.edu . You don’t need to write the actual article. We’ll take care of that for you. Please include: Who? What? When? Where? Why? Cost? If there are specific media contacts that you would like the information to be sent to, please also let us know. Submitting information earlier is always better. Remember: At minimum, we need it two to three weeks before an event.

 2. Once we have all the information, we’ll compose a draft that conforms to Associated Press style and ask you to review it and respond within 24 hours as to its accuracy and tone. Once everything is accurate in the draft press release and we’ll send it out to the target audience, as determined by our office.
