Missouri S&T student receives 2008 Goldwater Scholarship Brandi Clark, a junior in chemistry from Westervelt, Ill., was named a 2008
recipient of the Goldwater Scholarship. The scholarship covers the cost of
tuition, fees, books and room and board up to a maximum of $7,500. Clark plans
to earn a Ph.D. in environmental chemistry and would like to conduct research
in environmental chemistry and teach at the university level.

S&T professor named civil engineering fellow Dr. John J. Myers, associate professor of civil, architectural and
environmental engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology, has
been elected a fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
