The community is invited to hear Mihaela Britt, attorney at Britt Immigration Law LLC, discuss the recent executive order related to immigration during a talk this month at Missouri University of Science and Technology. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask her questions about current policies and their legal implications related to higher education and international student visas.

The Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce presented the Celebration of Nations Committee at Missouri University of Science and Technology with its Annual Achievement Award for 2017.

Celebration of Nations will mark its fifth year with an appearance by bluegrass group Jimmie Allison and the Ozark Rounders. The group will perform at the free festival following the international parade on Saturday, Sept. 27. They will also offer two bluegrass education sessions during the festival.
International Students Day, a showcase of the different countries represented by Missouri University of Science and Technology’s international students, will be held on Sunday, March 2, in the university’s Havener Center.
