Missouri University of Science and Technology students seeking full-time employment after graduation or co-op or internship for the semester will have an opportunity to meet with a record number of employers at the 2017 Fall Career Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 26, in the Gale Bullman Building on the S&T campus. Over 315 companies are registered to attend the event.

University completes successful year of fundraising

Missouri University of Science and Technology received $14.7 million in charitable gifts and pledges during the fiscal year that ended June 30.

This total for the 2017 fiscal year is a 37 percent increase over the previous fiscal year, during which Missouri S&T received $10.6 million in gifts and pledges. It also represents a 45 percent increase over the $10.1 million received in the 2012-2013 fiscal year, which serves as a baseline for the university’s strategic goals.

Heather Castelli: world traveler, mechanical engineer

Up until last summer, Heather Castelli had visited more foreign countries than U.S. states.

“I follow in my grandfather’s footsteps,” says Castelli, a 2017 mechanical engineering graduate of Missouri S&T. “He left Hungary in 1956 at the start of the revolution. My grandmother is from there as well. It all comes back to them.”
