Douglas P. Roberts named Missouri S&T police chief

Douglas P. Roberts, assistant special agent in charge for the St. Louis Field Office of the U.S. Secret Service, has been named chief of University Police at Missouri University of Science and Technology. He replaces Raymon Bogart, who had served in an interim role since former Chief Christine Laughlin retired in 2015. Roberts’ position takes effect June 1. [Read more…]

S&T honors patent holders at Inventor Celebration Day

Missouri University of Science and Technology’s recent patent recipients were honored Wednesday, April 27, at the university’s second annual Inventor Celebration Day. Missouri S&T’s office of technology transfer and economic development (OTTED) hosted the campuswide event, which recognized nine S&T faculty who earned a patent in the past year.
