Moore named associate provost of administration at Missouri S&T

Dr. Caprice Moore, director of operations for the George Herbert Walker School of Business and Technology at Webster University, has been named associate provost of administration at Missouri University of Science and Technology. Her appointment began Monday, Jan. 11.

Moore will assist Missouri S&T Provost Robert Marley in directing and managing both short- and long-term critical priorities, initiatives and activities that support Missouri S&T’s strategic teaching and research efforts.

The position, which is housed in the provost’s office, is an upgraded one and the result of a restructuring effort to better serve the department’s constituents. [Read more…]

Missouri S&T EWB group to travel to Guatemala

The new minor in humanitarian engineering and science will allow students to earn credit for service-learning activities, such as Engineers Without Borders.The student chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) at Missouri University of Science and Technology will travel to Nahualate, Guatemala, to continue its work to help provide access to safe drinking water for the community of approximately 3,000 people.
