Missouri S&T receives grant to prevent student loan defaults

Magical singing begins family series at S&T

The Leach Theatre Family Series at Missouri University of Science and Technology begins this fall with an evening of illusions, singing and dancing, by entertainer Adam Trent. Future performances include a children’s world music duet and an interactive comedic ventriloquist. All performances will be held in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla, Mo.

85th Army Band to join Rolla Town Band in final concert

The 85th Army Band will join the Rolla Town Band for its final performance of the summer season. The combination concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, on the Castleman Hall Green, located at 10th and State streets, on the campus of Missouri University of Science and Technology. The concert is free and open to the public.

Douglas K. Ludlow to lead S&T freshman engineering program

Dr. Douglas K. Ludlow, professor of chemical engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology, has been named director of freshman engineering at Missouri S&T. The appointment took effect June 15. Ludlow took over for Dr. Jeffrey D. Cawlfield, who was named vice provost for undergraduate studies in June. [Read more…]

The local musicians of the Rolla Town Band are set to perform their second concert of the summer. Concert goers will hear a variety of pieces from different genres, as well as a section of military-themed marches.
