Student killed in motorcycle accident

Ryan D. Hall, 21, of Columbia, Mo., a senior in computer engineering at Missouri S&T, was killed just after 8 p.m. Monday, June 8, in a motorcycle accident outside of Columbia.

According to the Boone County Sheriff's Department, Hall lost control of his motorcycle and slid into a guardrail as he navigated the entrance to the McBaine Bridge over Perche Creek on Burr Oak Road off of Route K, southwest of Columbia.

Hall was a member of the Missouri S&T Lacrosse team and was enrolled for the fall 2009 semester.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, at the Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1600 W. Rollins Road, in Columbia. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 11, at the church.
